More of week 3 CSX (real time) CONTINUED

Hey the journey continues…

I am into week 3 now but i had a rather large set back. All the traffic I have driven so far could not be converted because of a glitch in communication. They failed to give me the exact instructions on how to get a payment button from paydotcom to go to paypal so I could get paid. It seems even though you are using paydotcom you still have to use the paypal button within paydotcom  in order for the customer to enter payment info.

So I am kinda back to square one anyway they need to improve that part of the instructions for paydotocm. But if you are just interested in the basic done for you site it would not affect you. That is if you are not trying to build your own list it won’t affect you.

If you are using the (built for you) section of the system this will not affect you.

WEEK 4
I am doing as much marketing I can afford but have yet to make a profit with csx elite. I am kinda discouraged because I thought it would go better than this. I don’t know if its the economy and no one is buying anything but it sure seems like it. I am running a banner ad on a site that gets alot of affiliate marketing exposure and sending out solo emails via safelists. I have sent about 100 or so visitors to to the sales page but have yet to make a sale. If you have any comments for me feel free i guess i need all the help I can get. Well I will keep posting and hope things will get better. Stay tuned.

Hi my name is tommy and I bought csx elite BY JONNY ANDREWS about 2 weeks ago and this blog post is going to be the truth about how I am doing. Now after 2 weeks of using the program I have yet to see any profit.

I have set up all the parts of the program. But its is  early into the process I have to learn all the ins and outs. One of the sections of the course encourages you to buy a email list but that was optional and I did not do it.

Jonny said that was for the more advanced and not the newbie anyway. So far I have set up some banner ads on bidvetiser and put out some ads on craigslist.  I have 79 hits and no sales but like I said I am just at the start and I think I will do better, besides a lot of the hits are probably where I went to the page to check things out.

Right now I am just hoping it will work because I have tried a lot of things on this internet and so far its been very aggravating. But I have a lot of TRUST in jonny. I think he is honest and  shoots it to you  straight. Right uber mic massive jonny?

By the way the last program he put out cost almost $1000 to get into I could not afford that but this one is only $97/mth. So that gives you 1 month to find out If Jonny is a fraud or the real deal goodtimes fuzzie bunny.

Start of week 3

Looking forward to see what week 3 has in store. Today I have had some trouble with getting my site setup correctly.

I chose jonny’s more complex option to build my own list which is a little more complicated than going with the standard program.

You have to setup your aweber list in the csx integrator. The problem that i had is when I setup my paydotcom section of the program,

which allows you to get other affiliates to promote the products for you, the buy buttons did not have a link for the customer to buy (bummer).

Well I had to put in that question to the  help desk and I am still waiting for an answer.

So I will post some more info when I get that problem solved.

Saying that, however, opens such a huge can of worms that it’s almost impossible to touch on the MLM  subject matter, which has driven affiliate marketing to such an extent that too many people now see them as being intrinsically linked, and not for the better.

Amazon was the initiator of the affiliate marketing boom online, when it opened its doors to other sales avenues waay back in ’97. Since then, huge numbers of companies have copied that model, and it has driven countless millions in sales over the past few years that it’s hard nowadays to NOT see an advert or link on a site that doesn’t have some affiliate marketing in step with it.

That link to NY Times on your favorite site? Probably an affiliate marketing link. The coupon on your local mechanic’s site for ZZ dollars off? More than likely an affiliate marketing site link. It’s become such a part of our online world it’s more a hunt for those that don’t do it, than for those that do. While it looks like it’s everywhere, the main reason for it is that for a relatively low cost, you can engage a sales force that outweighs your own company to a staggering amount, and see the returns from it almost at will.

It’s not unheard of for companies to close they’re affiliate marketing sections simply because they cannot keep up with demand from these marketing arms. Some companies exist solely to supply affiliate links to marketers, and from that themselves earn a substantial income anyway!

As there really is no such thing as a free lunch, it’s worth mentioning here that for this program to work it does need to pay decently for the affiliate’s themselves as no-one will really put a lot of effort into it for you if the return is not good enough, so if you’re looking to market a new product that costs $300 per sale, and you pay your affiliates $1 per sale, well, you’re just not going to have that many affiliates, are you? YouTube has become an amazing way to generate free traffic to your site. Just like a website, you can optimize your videos for the YouTube surfers who use the search feature.

Computers and cameras are making it easier and easier to get video on the Web. It used to be you had to buy additional software just to get your video on the right format.

Now most digital camcorders come with the necessary software, or your PC or MAC may already have the software/drivers you need to make it happen. Plus YouTube accepts so many different video formats, you don’t have to worry about converting the file.

Not to mention, Windows has a free video editing program called “Windows Movie Maker” which is super easy to use.

You simply download your video from your camera to your PC. Then open up Windows Movie Maker to make edits to your video. You can add captions, credits, crop and more.

Since Windows Movie Maker is a free program, there are some limitations. For example, you can’t control the placement of the captions. So if you’ve centered yourself in the video, you’ll have to deal with the fact that the captions/text may cover your face temporarily.

Also, you can’t control how long the credits stay on the screen. After all, the credits are a great place to re-emphasize your website address so you want people to remember it.

But in my opinion, these are very small drawbacks. Remember you only get so much for free and you can still create a nice quality video with this software.

Note: The Vista version of Movie Maker was the last one I used. I cannot speak for latter versions.

Other Video Editing Software Options?

If you would like more control over your video, you can opt to buy video editing software. I use Pinnacle Studio now. It’s a step up from Movie Maker and has a lot more professional features.

The software comes with montages, intros and music so you can spice up your videos.

Power Director is another popular program with good reviews. I’ve never used them, but they seem to have large share of the video editing market.

However, if you’re on a budget and you have Windows Vista, then Windows Movie Maker will do just fine for starting out. MAC users can get started with iMovie.

More Video Production Tips

1. Have adequate lighting.

Make sure people can actually SEE you. What are you hiding anyway? ;-)

2. Don’t memorize a script…

Unless you’re good at delivering it where it doesn’t sound like you’re talking from memory. I’ve found if you just talk off the top of your head, it comes across much more conversational and natural.

3. Watch the time.

Your video should be as long as it needs to be, and get to the point. If you start rambling for 10 minutes about nothing, you could lose your audience before the video is finished. If your video seems long, think of ways you can summarize and condense certain points.

4. Check your backdrop.

Remember, this video is representing you and your site. If you’ve got a junk heap behind you, it will distract your audience. If you don’t have a nice background, then just film in front of a blank wall.

5. Watch your filler words.

We don’t realize how often we say “Um” and use filler words until we see ourselves on video. It’s normal to need a sec to think about what to say next, so practice just being silent in those moments if you are an “Ummer.” :)

The Bottom Line

No matter what method or software you use, it’s definitely worth experimenting with video to help promote your site. And since YouTube is owned by Google, that can only mean good things if you make a good video and optimize the title and keywords for your audience.

Just like Google.com, YouTube can bring you a good amount of targeted visitors, and people can even subscribe to your YouTube channel so they’ll be notified any time you add a new video.

And if your video is good enough, others will want to embed it into their sites. What a great, viral way to promote your site and get your name out there.

So take your time making a quality video. Once the viral effect kicks in, it can make quite an impact in your traffic levels.

One of the easiest and fastest way to make money online in through affiliate marketing. This is when you send visitors to someone else’s product sales page, they make the sale and deliver the product, and you get a percentage of the sale price as you commission (usually 50% or more for digital products).
